Ernesto Klengel (*1986 in Zwenkau, near Leipzig) has been appointed as Scientific Director of the Hugo Sinzheimer Institute in January 2024. He has been a legal scholar at the institute since 2019 and is the author of several academic publications in the
field of German, European and international labour law. He lectures at the University of Labour and the European Academy of Labour in Frankfurt/Main. Ernesto Klengel is also an honorary judge and a member of the supervisory board of various research projects.
