Katia Schnellecke

Katia Schnellecke is a consultant for international gender equality and feminism in the Global and European Policy Department of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) in Berlin. Her work focuses on feminist foreign policy, strategies against anti-feminism, and feminist perspectives on the future of work, especially digitalization.

From 2018 to 2022, she headed both the Syria Office and the regional Gender and Feminism Office of the FES in Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to that, she spent two years as a policy officer for Israel, Palestine, and Sudan, as well as for gender and feminism in the Middle East and North Africa Department of the FES in Berlin.
