Semih Yalcin

Semih Yalcin was born in Cologne and studied history and law at the University of Bonn. He has worked for various employers. After leaving school, he served two years as a soldier in the German army and later worked as a helper on construction sites, at DHL as a loader, in archives, at WDR and at Cologne's wholesale market. Nine years ago, he started as a bicycle courier at foodora, where he was team leader. He now works for the international online delivery service provider Just Eat Takeaway, which includes Lieferando. He has represented the interests of employees as chairman of the works council. Parallel to his work at Lieferando, he works on various projects and is a freelancer.
