Darius Sivin is an International Representative at the UAW. He has played a major role in the UAW’s case against Mercedes for violating workers’ rights in the U.S. state of Alabama.
Previously, he was involved in a case filed with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) against Nissan for similar worker rights violations in the State of Mississippi. In addition to his international affairs work, Dr. Sivin does Occupational Health and Safety work for the UAW. This is the field in which he holds his PhD. He has worked for the UAW for 23 years.
