Sylvia Borcherding is Chief Corporate Officer and Director of Human Resources at 50Hertz. Since the reorganization of the company in 2024, she has been a member of the management board responsible for general services, human resources, corporate governance, nature conservation and permits, technical planning and implementation, and purchasing. Her work focuses on the transformation, organizational, and cultural development of the company, which operates in an internationally dynamic and highly regulated environment shaped by the energy transition.
Sylvia Borcherding is committed to modernizing and further developing the working conditions and a corporate culture based on trust and empowerment at 50Hertz and throughout the Elia Group. This includes close coordination with employee participation bodies and protecting employee health at a very high level.
